Who We Are

Feast World Kitchen is a nonprofit restaurant, catering company, and food wholesaler in downtown Spokane, Washington. Our mission is to elevate and empower immigrants and former refugees as leaders, using international cuisine as a platform for economic resilience, holistic growth, and culture-sharing. As they share flavors from their original home cultures, the Chef Participants in our programs learn career skills, earn the income from their food sales, and build community connections.

Every day we are open features a different International Chef Partner! We post the restaurant menu each Monday evening for the upcoming Wed-Sun rotation: scroll down to see this week's offerings (if it's Monday, you may not see them yet as we are working on it!) We love pre-orders, but walk-ins are welcomed too!

Tin | Thailand

Chef Tin was born and raised in Burma until he was seven, later spending his childhood in a refugee camp along the Thailand border due to ongoing violence, conflict, oppression, and human rights abuses in his country. Chef Tin has a passion for cooking and has been working in kitchens since he was 14. With 25 years of experience, he’s always felt joy in seeing how his cooking brings smiles to people's faces! In 2013, Tin moved to the United States through UNHCR for a safer future. Now, as a father of three, he feels blessed to share his cooking with all of you, hoping to put smiles on your faces as well.

Chef Abdelrahman left Syria 10 years ago and moved to Lebanon with his family—his mom, dad, and six siblings. Currently, four of his siblings have made it to the USA, with two more waiting to join. He has worked in a bakery for the last 10 years but the war forced him and his siblings to work to support their parents. Chef Abdulrahman has a dream he wants to achieve, and he believes that Feast World Kitchen can help him reach it.

FEAST

Making Spokane a more hospitable and delicious place to live.

Our vision is for all former refugees and immigrants to experience full belonging in the Spokane community and to have opportunities to build healthy, flourishing lives.

Feast World Kitchen is our flagship project as a caterer, restaurant, and community gathering space. We continue to build this ecosystem with additions such as practical support through Table Time, consistent presence in local schools, and our annual FeastFest cultural street party!
